BCLE 2000: Business Continuity Management

BCLE-2000 is an exploration of the ten Professional Practices for Business Continuity Professionals.

The course outlines, exemplifies, and exercises the Professional Practices, internationally accepted standards developed by DRI International and the Business Continuity Institute.

It is designed for advanced professionals experienced in the business continuity profession to expose them to all aspects of a holistic BCM program and to determine the most appropriate requirements for their organization.

Experience is a key criterion in selecting this course because of the rapid pace and extensive materials covered during the class.

This interactive course offering has twelve lessons and is completed in four days.

In each lesson, the planner’s role, tasks and objectives, planning requirements, tools, techniques, and validation are designed to assist the planner to move through this course and to directly apply these materials to their working environment.

Instructor-guided student activities that are included throughout the course are designed as knowledge checks to reinforce lesson materials and to provide students with hands-on activities that will enable them to become familiar with and apply these principles in their jobs in order to enhance the visibility and reach of their BCM programs.

Extensive additional materials are provided in the Tools & Resources of this course for student use on-the-job.

Unless specially noted per the event, the course traditionally runs from 8:30am - 5:00pm each day for DAYS 1 thru 4.

The DRI International QUALIFYING EXAMINATION is scheduled on DAY 5 from 8:30AM - 12:00PM

Registration for BCLE-2000 includes the full course and the DRII Qualifying Examination.
